Tracy Kinnally is an accomplished Advisor and Appraiser based in New York City. As an Accredited Member in Postwar, Contemporary, and Emerging Art of The Appraiser’s Association of America, she brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her work. With a focus on generating USPAP Compliant Appraisals for insurance, estate planning, and charitable donation purposes, Tracy has appraised thousands of objects and many millions of dollars worth of fine art for both large institutions and small businesses.
Beyond her appraisal practice, Tracy works closely with private collectors to build their collections with both vision and pragmatism. Her keen eye and deep understanding of the art market allow her to assist collectors in creating a collection with a lasting cultural narrative that reflects their unique tastes and preferences within their overall lifestyles.
Tracy's academic background in the History of Art and World Practice, which she earned from the prestigious University of Glasgow and Christie’s Education, London, provides her with a strong foundation in the field of art and the long term evolution of Fine and Decorative art collections from the Renaissance to Postwar period. Additionally, she is Co-Founder of The Peggy Society, an international network of Alumni of the Peggy Guggenheim Collection that aims to foster opportunities for mentorship and professional development through a variety of cultural programming in every sector of the art world that alumni are involved in. She speaks Italian and returns to Italy every chance she can.
